The 2nd Saturday Lecture Series starts a new year with "Freemasonry in the Civil War."   The American Civil War was indeed a war between brother Masons.  Following an overview  of Freemasonry in the armies of the North and South, members of the Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh will perform a three act mini-play called the “Lincoln Degree” in the Music Hall. Refreshments served in the Reception Hall following. Registration not required. Free and open to the public. 2nd Saturday Lecture Series made possible by the Massey Charitable Trust.
