Written by Michael Keamy, performed by Stephen Collins

Stephen Collins fascinates audiences with his one-man Walt Whitman show. "Whitman was so much ahead of his time", said Collins. "He wanted his poetry to be read by common people. His message is clear and strong." Mr. Collins' performance delivers not just the poetry but he brings Whitman to life before our eyes. The show also conveys an understanding of the impact and the reactions of the poet to his times, giving the audience not just a performance, but an experience.

We will have all kinds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math activities set up in our large meeting room.  Our Full STEAM Ahead grant* has made it possible for our library to expand its collection in the STEAM areas and offer books, equipment, A/V materials, etc. to excite our preschool patrons about learning.  Drop in and explore all these wonderful offerings and take home ideas that can further your child's interest in STEAM exploration!  Plan to wear "yard clothes" as exploration can be messy.

Funding for this program is provided by the Full STEAM Ahead grant.
