READ2Rover is a program that encourages children to read by providing a nonjudgemental listner and furry friend to read to that won't laugh at them if they make a mistake or stumble over a word, but rather lie next to them and enjoy being read to. This relationship between child and dog enables the child to gain a positive attitude about reading, improving reading skills, building confidence, and the enjoyment of reading. READ2Rover is a program that encourages children to read by providing a nonjudgemental listner and furry friend to read to that won't laugh at them if they make a mistake or stumble over a word, but rather lie next to them and enjoy being read to. This relationship between child and dog enables the child to gain a positive attitude about reading, improving reading skills, building confidence, and the enjoyment of reading.
