Teen Volunteers Needed

TEEN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
|
|
 The Library has many roles for teens (13 -17 years of age) who would like to serve their community, earn work experience, CAS/NHS hours, and have fun. Just a few of the teen tasks for summer may include:
-
Teen Zone Gaming Coordinators - (16 -17 years) These teens set up gaming equipment and oversee the Teen Zone during gaming times.
-
Discovery Room Craft - These teens help children work on craft projects.
-
Summer Reading Club - These teens help families register and record summer reading hours and distribute prizes.
-
Collection Maintainance - All teen volunteers will learn the proper way to shelve and display books.
Applications for summer teen volunteers will be available April 1 - May 11 online or at the Children's Information Desk. For questions and/or additional information, contact Mary Woodward at (817) 952-2372 or mary.woodward@bedfordtx.gov.
