To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the beginning of World War I, learn about this pivotal point in history in a new way. Join us for a presentation by one of our most popular presenters, Dr.Gerard Brooker! Dr. Brooker is a world traveler and humanitarian who always opens our eyes to another view. In this talk, he'll give us background information on the causes of the war, the battles that were fought, and the heroism of the soldiers. He'll also share photos of his recent World War I tour. A question and answer session will provide an opportunity to delve more deeply into the topic.

CELEBRATE FOUNDER'S DAY 2015!

Children are invited to create a flower arrangement in honor of the Library's founder, Maria Parloa.

This first of two flower arranging workshops offered this evening is for children ages 5-12.

Professional floral designers from Alice's Flower Shop will show us tricks of the trade and lend a helping hand if you like. All supplies will be provided--so everyone will go home with their own complete arrangement! 

Registration will be required and must be limited to 10. Registration begins soon.
