    The Bloomingdale Loose Threads Quilt Club presents a Civil War Reproduction Quilt Bedturning. The quilts, all creations of the quilt club members, will be representative of the patterns, fabrics and history of the era. In addition, members will display their handmade quilt blocks which tell stories of how "safe houses" sent messages of safety and directions to slaves fleeing the South for freedom.

    This class will teach students how to burn computer files to a CD, an essential skill for backing up pictures, documents, or other important information. The basics of working with music and data CDs, as well as CD copying, will be discussed. The class works in a Windows XP environment but attention will be paid to the issues that come up when burning CDs with an older operating system. Re-writable CDs will also be discussed.
