    Come design and build your own trebuchet. You may ask, what is a trebuchet? This is your chance to learn more about this medieval weapon of destruction. We will have the materials, you bring your own creativity. Due to space limitations pre-registration is required. You may register in person or by phone, 222-1190. Another session will be scheduled at 2:00 P.M. You may choose the time that is most convenient for you.

    Come join with other youth and explore the exciting world of 4-H science! Restoring a River The 4-H Restoring a River Challenge, explores how dams can impact native Maine fish. Youth will assemble their own dam, then discover how it influences alewives. Hands on activities will explore why alewives are important to fisherman and other fish in Maine. As space is limited registration is required, please stop in or call 222-1190 to reserve a space.

    Pre-school story time is aimed at children aged 3 to 5 years. School readiness skills, listening, and following directions are developed during this time. Our story time is designed to introduce children to books and libraries in a positive and enjoyable way. The program includes a variety of stories, finger games, action rhymes and perhaps a craft or film. Along with aiding the development of listening and motor skills, pre-school story time is also a time when children can learn socialization skills with children their own age.

This will be the same program as offered on Thursday mornings, so if your child does better in a smaller group Fridays might be best.
