Wednesdays from 6:00-6:45pm. Zentangle is a relaxing and fun way to create beautiful
images using repetitive patterns. This form of art increases focus and creativity.

Classes will be held on, September 28th, October 5th & 19th, and November 2nd.

Seating is limited to 30 students, please register by calling the library at (207) 222-1190,

Our story time is designed to introduce children to books and libraries in a positive and enjoyable way. The program includes a variety of stories, songs, action rhymes, and crafts. Early literacy skills, school readiness, listening, and following directions are developed by attending the program.  Pre-School Story Time is also a time when children can learn socialization skills by interacting with children their own age. (Ages 3 to 5)

We present stories, songs, rhymes, and movement activities to match the age and attention span of participants. Children in this age range react differently; they will be at all levels of development. The goal of our program is to set the stage for a love of reading and lifelong learning. Toddler Time is also an opportunity for children to learn socialization skills by interacting with others their own age.  (18-36 months)

Note: we offer the same program twice a week to accommodate our large toddler population

Delight and stimulate your baby’s senses with books and music. Exposure to words, rhymes, music, and movement during the first 18 months of life assists in developing language and motor skills. Baby and Me is also a time when children can learn socialization skills by interacting with children their own age. (Birth to 18 months)

A variety of textile techniques and projects will be explored.  Children age 7 and up are welcome to attend.  Children under 8 years old must have a parent or other caregiver, over age 14, in attendance to help with the program as needed.  This activity has open registration, come when you can and leave when you must.
