Williams, III   508-580-7890, x101   hwilliams@ci.brockton.ma.us     The monthly poetry series begins at 12:00 in the Large Conference Room with a poetry-writing workshop led by Danielle Legros-George or a guest facilitator. From 1:30 to 2 p.m., audience members may sign up for the open reading in the Lingos Auditorium, which runs from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. During the open reading, audience members share their own work or the work of a favorite poet. Featured poets Catherine Sasanov and Susan Roney-O'Brien read at 3:30 p.m. Local author Colleen Roberts hosts a monthly writers' critique group, 1:00-2:00, the same day. New members are welcome to bring a piece of work in progress. As always, the Greater Brockton Society for Poetry and the Arts provides delicious refreshments and comfortable seating. Everyone is welcome to attend any or all of these free events.
