Join us for the Library Board of Trustees Meetings held at 7:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month unless noted. All meetings are open to the public. The minutes from the meetings are available at the library. The staff will be happy to assist you with these items at the circulation desk.

This class is performed from a seating position and can be accomplished by all. The class consists of stretching, resistance training, isometric holds, and basic coordination exercises. The class is designed to improve muscle strength, joint stability, and joint range of movement. The result of this will be improved posture and ability to perform activities of daily living. 

Ample resistance bands will be provided and limited hand held weights will be available. Participants may bring their own weights, which can be anything they are comfortable with, from water bottles to weights of 5 pounds or more.

The class consists of stretching, resistance training, isometric holds, and basic coordination exercises plus some standing balance exercises and very light aerobic work. The resistance training hits all major muscle groups and may utilize hand held weights or resistance bands.
