		8th Annual Fredricksen Library LOOP 5K presented by Holy Spirit Health System Saturday, July 27 at 8:20 am The 8th annual Fredricksen Library Loop 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk, presented by Holy Spirit Health System, will be held rain or shine on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Check-in and registration for both the 5K race and the Fun Run & Walk begins at 7 a.m. Start time for the 5K Race is at 8:20 a.m. and the 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk starts at 8:25 a.m. Registration and parking for this important library fundraising event will be at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church parking lot, 417 22nd Street, Camp Hill, PA. There will be cash prizes for the top three male/female finishers overall, medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male/female finishers in each age group, and a trophy for the winning team of five or more! Register ONLINE at Active.com (Search Fredricksen). Numerous sponsorship levels are available. Registration forms are available at the library, or can be downloaded from our website. Call Kathleen Fey at 761-3900 ext. 244 for more information. Pre-registration fees for the 5K race are $20 per runner until June 30th. From July 1 through race-day (July 27th), the registration fee is $25 per runner. Only pre-registered 5K runners will receive a race tee-shirt. Teams of five discount: $75. Performance tees with front logo only available for an additional $20 (pre-registered only). The pre-registration fee for the 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk is $12 per participant until June 30th and includes a tee shirt. From July 1 through July 27, registration for the 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk is $15 per participant. Only pre-registered 5K runners will receive a race tee-shirt. Just one pint of your blood can save as many as four lives. Come and donate in Fredricksen's lower parking lot (Walnut Street). The Central PA Blood Bank will be here the first Friday of every month. It is a safe and easy process which takes approximately 45 minutes. Generally, anyone age 16 or older, weighing at least 110 pounds and in good health, can donate blood. 		Donation Station @ Fredricksen First Saturday of every month from 1 pm to 3 pm The Friends of Fredricksen will hold Donation Station on the first Saturday of every month from 1 pm to 3 pm to process the donation of books and media for our Spring and Fall Book sales. Volunteers will be able to assist unloading your donations. We hope to provide convenience to you, our donors, and streamline our process for donations. During Donation Station hours, please park on the Walnut Street side parking area at the lower level employee entrance door. Donations at all other times can be given at the reference desk.
