Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl's parents. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl. Rated PG-13. No registration necessary. Sponsored by Jane and Bill Murray.

This Week:

The Collectors by Robinson Misty

Our 2013 readings break new ground as a resource for the variety and richness the short story form has to offer.  Thirty-nine selections in four categories: short stories, sudden fiction, novellas, and graphic stories.  These stories, spanning a century and a half, are among the greatest ever written.   Provocative readings, diverse participants and shared inquiry provide contemplative discussions.

Short Story Omnibus, ISBN 978-1-880323-73-1, can be purchased the Great Books Foundation, 1-800-222-5870 or www.greatbooks.org.   No fees, prerequisites, regular attendance, or registration are required.
