Great Books Discussion @ New Cumberland
10:30 A.M.- 12:30 P.M
The group meets the Second and Fourth Wednesdays of each month.
This Week: Hell Scream by Akutagawa Ryunosuke
The diverse interests, education, and backgrounds of the participants make the discussions interesting and lively. The stimulating selections for the 2008-2009 season vary across displines and themes. Through shared inquiry discussions, participants benefit by examining the thoughts presented in the texts and their relevance in modern life. We encourage you to participate in as many of the discussions that you can.
These selections are included in the anthology, "Great Conversations 5", which can be purchased for $24.95 plus shipping and handling from Great Books Foundation, 1-800-222-5870 or www.greatbooks.org.
The library owns several copies for borrowing.
No fee and no registration.
