“Hola: It's an Introduction to Latino Culuture with Miss Valeria”

           Kids, sign up now to take part in “Hola, Spanish!”, a 5-week class designed to introduce you to Mexico and the Latino Culture!  The class will meet Friday afternoons, 4pm-5pm, starting April 11.  It will be led by “Miss Valeria”, a W&J College student and native of Texas, and will be an introduction to the history, culture, food, customs, and language of Mexico and the southwestern U.S. 

           The class is recommended for grades 2-5, and registration is required as enrollment is limited.  Call or stop in the Children’s Dept. to register, or for more information.

           “Olé!”  The next Family Story Night at Citizens Library will celebrate Cinco de Mayo!  Slated for Monday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m. the program will offer Mexican stories, craft, and hands-on snacks. 

           Family Story Night is FREE and open to all ages; please register by Friday, May 2, so we know how many to prepare for.  For more information or to register, stop in or call the Children’s Dept. at 724-222-2400, ext. 235.
