Washington Art Association at Citizens Library will offer a watercolors course for middle-schoolers through adults from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 28 through July 28.            Drop in the Children’s Dept. on Fridays for TGIF: Tinkering, Games, Ideas, and Fun”.  All supplies, materials, and directions for a different activity, craft, game, or puzzle each week will be set up in the Children’s Dept. for anyone who stops in on Fridays.  This is not a set program, but a DIY event throughout the day.  Each activity will be self-guided; younger children must have an adult with them.  Upcoming activities include puppet theater, thumbprint art, block play, and bookmark making.

LEGO Club  

           LEGO Club will meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays, August 8 and 22, from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. The program is open to all ages, and there are sets of larger building blocks for children who are too young for regular sized Lego bricks.  The Children’s Dept. is also accepting donations of new or gently used Lego sets.

Wednesday, AUGUST 10 – “Library Night” at the Wild Things!  All readers who reach their goal will receive a free ticket to the August 10 Wild Things game against the Lake Erie Crushers.  Additional tickets are at the group rate of $8.00 per ticket.  Please fill out and return the order form (with payment) to the Children’s Dept. by Friday, July 29.
