Don Wilding, author and lecturer, presents this multimedia lecture about how The Outermost House inspired the creation of the Cape Cod National Seashore. This hour long slide lecture features over 100 photographs of Beston's famous cottage and recently produced documentary film fottage. Mr. Wilding is author of Henry Beston's Cape Cod. Q&A, book signing, and refreshments to follow. Free.

This workshop will explore all of the pull down menus, toolbars and features that will help you create worksheets and charts. Boston Globe reporters Kevin Cullen will talk about his book Whitey Bulger: America's Most Wanted Gangster and the Manhunt That Brought Him to Justice. This is the first authoritative look at the real Whitey Bulger, cutting through the myths, legends, and hearsay and offering the cold truth about Whitey's life of violence and his disturbing collusion with the FBI.

Barn Babies - live animal show-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Register now for the 10:30-11:00 Barn Babies traveling menagerie program. Each session is 30 minutes and is limited to 25 participants. Barn Babies managerie is an educational and hands on experience for all ages. Come interact with bunnies, chicks or ducklings, goats or lambs, a potbellied pig, kittens, and puppies. "Barn Babies is a locally owned family business that was established in 1994. During events the animals are wrapped in baby receiving blankets in order to make both the animal and handler more comfortable.
