 While it gets cold in January, we are cuddling up with "Giants in the Earth", Ole Rolvaag's classic about Norwegians settling South Dakota. (Did you know that one in three Dakotans claim Norwegian ancestry?) Readers who have already read this book wish that they'd been introduced to it sooner.  A true picture of settlement in the 1880's.  All are welcome and you don't have to read the book in order to attend.
