The Book Club at the Carver Public Library meets on the second Thursday of each month at 2:00 in the Small Meeting Room. This month our book is The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. The book details the building & events of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago as well as the serial killer who took advantage of the fair to find victims. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.

Home Alone/Babysitting Class

The Babysitting/Home Alone Class is a free class offered to those who are age 11 and older. The class will meet on 5 consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 beginning Tuesday, September 28th and ending Tuesday, October 26th. The class is for those who wish to learn about babysitting as well as for those who stay home alone. There will be guest speakers covering topics such as fire safety, personal safety, nutrition, child development and activities. The class will be held in the Small Meeting Room. Registration is required. Please call the library at 508-866-3415 to sign up.
