This group meets on the fourth Tuesday at 7pm to discuss a recent fiction or non-fiction selection.
This month's selection is Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker by Jennifer Chiaverini. Elizabeth “Lizzy” Keckley, a gifted seamstress, she earned her freedom by the skill of her needle, and won the friendship of First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln by her devotion. A sweeping historical novel, Mrs. Lincoln’s Dressmaker illuminates the extraordinary relationship the two women shared, beginning in the hallowed halls of the White House during the trials of the Civil War and enduring almost to the end of Mrs. Lincoln’s days.
Copies are available for participates, please contact Samantha Shepherd 610-446-3082 x 203

Calling all crafty homeschoolers (you know - knit, crochet, needlepoint, etc)!
Join the Haverford Township Free Library's Youth Services Department for our new Homeschoolers' Handwork Circle - work on your current project, practice your skills or get some help from experienced handworkers! We'll meet just after Tea and Stitch, HTFL's weekly crafting group, and with the help of some expert crafters, we'll work on our own projects. Enjoy the company, expertise, and some refreshments.
If you're interested in learning the basics of knit or crochet, we're happy to help! Please email Ms. Anny (laepple@haverfordlibrary.org) to discuss what supplies you'll need to bring.

HTFL Bake
Open to 6th - 12th Grade
The first Wednesday of every month.
Teens love to bake, so here is the opportunity to learn how to make your own treats! We'll feature nerdy recipes, practical recipies, and recipies so decadent they're bound to spoil dinner!
No registration required.
P.S. Since it is Wednesday, gaming equipment will be open for use. So if cooking isn't your scene, you can still use the teen space to get your game on.
