Small business owners work in a fast paced environment and can find themselves working in nontraditional or less than ideal workspaces. They are too busy taking care of business, often neglecting their own personal health. The content is targeted towards businesses of all sizes. Whether you are a sole proprietor or employ 1-50 workers, businesses can benefit from implementing strategies that monitor and improve workplace setup to reduce risk of injury. Reducing injuries and improving work conditions can increase productivity and decrease business costs. Presented by Kathy Dixon, a physical therapist and co-owner of Action Potential, and SCORE, this interactive presentation will educate participants on the steps to a successful ergonomics process as well as include take home advice for an ergonomic computer workstation setup.
