Great Adventure Awaits!

Join us each Monday from 6pm-8pm as we explore vast kingdoms and galaxies far, far away. We'll learn the basics of table-top gaming systems, compare with Live-Action systems (aka LARP) and experiment with new systems as they are released. Build your own hero (or villian!) and enrich their backstory. Solve complex puzzles, evade dangerous traps, and wage epic battles! What fate will befall you and your companions? Roll the dice and see.

 

Grades 6-12, register at desk or via phone or email. Walk-ins welcome too!

Curious, but not sure if you want to play? Come visit and watch a game, or play a stock character from our vault.

A READING EVENT + POETRY, WRITING & ART COMPETITIOOF HORRIFIC PROPORTIONS!

Come enjoy readings of the works of famous Horror and Gothic writers, such as Edgar Alan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Anne Radcliffe, Robert E. Howard, as well as our local teen authors and artists!


Submit your own macabre Flash Fiction or Poetry masterpiece to our Macabre Teen Writing Contest and you could win fabulous prizes!

To Enter:

  • Must be in high-school.
  • Story can be no more than 1,000 words!
  • Poems must be minimum of 3 lines, maximum of 26.
  • Must have a Horror or Gothic theme.
  • Entries must be typed, double spaced.
  • You may submit as many stories or poems as you wish!
  • All entries must be read at the Spring into Madness event on Saturday April 28th—by author or a friend.

 

Or submit a Gothic Portrait to our Modern Gothic Teen Art Contest and you could win fabulous prizes!

To Enter:

  • Must be in high-school.
  • Piece must be a portrait.
  • Must meet the Modern Gothic theme (image should be Dark & Mysterious)
