Meetings are (usually) every 2nd Friday of each month at 1:30 pm. We meet downstairs in the Library (Room A).

The Reader’s Group is open to all. There may be copies available for check-out at the Front Desk. Call us at 432-6140 for more info.

We are always looking for new members and new suggestions for good books to read and discuss. We enjoy reading all kinds of books and we’re a co-ed group. All are welcome!

    The library has been overrun by lions, elephants and mischievous monkeys! Put on your best safari wear and enter the world of Jumanji, the jungle adventure game based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg. Hang out in the cabana for tasty safari snacks then make your way to the Golden City by trying your hand at a host of jungle-skill games in the children's area. All ages with caregiver. TJ Culinane of the Friends of Forest Hill Cemetery will discuss The Forest Hill Cemetery, Civil War Veterans buried there, and the various projects to restore damaged headstones and to document the buiral plots within the Cemetery for researcher access. This program will be especially interesting to Derry Histori fans who might like to volunteer to assist with these projects.
