A 20 - 30 minutes lapsit storytime for infants birth - 12 months and their caregivers. Learn fingerplays, songs, and simple baby sign language to share with your babies as they sit comfortably in your lap. No registration.

In order to provide the best storytime experience for everyone, we ask that you observe the following guidelines:

  • Arrive early to give your child time to get settled in to the library, make a nametag for storytime, and use the bathroom if needed.
    • Late arrivals will not be allowed into storytime after ten minutes to avoid disrupting storytime leaders and fellow visitors, especially children who may be easily distracted.
  • Grownups and children sit together in order to encourage children to join in and participate. Children are more engaged when their caregivers are participating, too. And it’s fun!
  • Keep cell phones quiet out of respect for storytime leaders and fellow visitors.
  • Save chatting for later. Please make use of the Play Area before and after storytime for socializing!
