This simple and fun craft is best suited to ages 8+. We'll be creating refrigerator magnets using flat sided clear marbles with a photo or clipping from a magazine sandwiched between the glass and a magnet. Using photos featuring faces of less than an inch in diameter, these magnets would make excellent Mother's Day gifts. Supplies will be provided, but bring you own pictures if possible, or flip through magazines that we'll provide. Magnets take a while to dry so if you have a piece of metal to bring with you to attach the magnets to for the trip home, they'll be more likely to arrive intact. The best thing to do would to be to bring a Sucrets or Altoid tin to place the magnets in for the trip home. This program is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. We are limited to 10 spaces.

Early College Planning

Higher education is critically important, especially in today's complex world. During this presentation, we will provide parents of younger students (K-8) with the tools to encourage and support their children's educational aspirations. We will address questions parents may have about paying for college and will provide the facts about financial aid and saving for college. Attendees will receive our Early College Planning Guide.

The NHHEAF Network Organizations are comprised of three active 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies - New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF), Granite State Management & Resources (GSM&R) and New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation (NHHELCO) - which provide outstanding college access programs for New Hampshire students, families and schools. Located in Concord, New Hampshire, the funds generated by the Organizations’ loan operation make its charitable mission possible as earnings are reinvested in programs and services that benefit citizens of our State.

He is a paranormal researcher, investigator, and author of more than a dozen books. His talk will include images, audio clips, and video from some of the world’s most infamous haunts plus a question and answer session for the audience. He will also have autographed books available for purchase.

His best sellers include: The World's Most Haunted Places, Weird Massachusetts, Our Haunted Lives, and Who's Haunting the White House? He's the founder of Ghostvillage.com, the Web's most popular paranormal destination according to Google, and a noted speaker and media personality. In January 2014 he gave a prestigious TEDx talk in New York City.  He's also the host of the cable/Web talk show, 30 Odd Minutes, available on Sky TV. Belanger has written for newspapers like The Boston Globe and is the series writer and researcher for Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel. He's been a guest on hundreds of radio and television programs including: The History Channel, The Travel Channel, Biography Channel, PBS, NECN, The Maury Show, The CBS News Early Show, CBS Sunday Morning, FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS affiliates, National Public Radio, the BBC,  Darkness Radio, and Coast to Coast AM.

“I can’t wait to haunt the Dover Public Library,” Jeff Belanger said. “We’ll dim the lights, talk about the ghost experience, and see the evidence and theories regarding the paranormal. I’ve spoken on the topic of the supernatural all over the world—there’s nothing like sharing in this discussion in person.”
