I'm sure you know that owls eat things like mice and and other furry or feathered animals.  Today is your chance to see what a certain owl ate.  Owls often swallow the smaller animals whole.  Some things like teeth, bones, claws, and feathers can't be digested by the owl.   To safely get rid of this material, the owl's gizzard compacts all this into a tight pellet that the owl spits up. These are known as owl pellets.  Today you will get a sanitized owl pellet to take apart.  Find the bones and compare then to charts showing te skeletons of animals that an owl might eat.  Registration is required and opens when the REGISTER BUTTON appears.  This program in for children in grades 2-5.
