Join us for our End of Read-to-Me Game party with Jeffrey Friedberg and the Bossy Frog Band! After the show, we will announce the winners of the Read-to-Me raffles! All reading logs must be turned in by 10:45 a.m. You do not need to be present to win.

Online pre-registration is required, and will begin on Monday, June 21st at 9 a.m. Open to those who are participating in the Read-to-Me Game, which is for children ages 2 and up who are not yet reading independently.

Please sign up separately for each child and each adult who will be attending; this is important as we only have a limited space. This is not a drop-off program.

For those entering Grades 4 - 6 in the fall. This program is drop-off. Online pre-registration is suggested.

This is a program aimed at avid readers, and will be in a "book talk" format. The librarian will start out by highlighting a book that he has enjoyed, and participants will be asked to bring in their own titles (1 - 3 each) to share. Participants will be reminded that the goal is to get their friends to want to read the book, so they shouldn’t give away the ending!

Time will be set aside at the end of the program for "advisory," meaning the participants can offer their feedback as to what type of books they would like the library to have more of. Refreshments will be served.

Please note, starting in October, Book Chat will be for Grades 4 and 5, and 6th graders will be able to attend Teen Advisory Group meetings.

        There are 23 spaces available.
