ent_stage1 2:00 PM M & M Productions: Becky Shaw Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend
In Red Monkey Theater Group’s production of Gina Gionfriddo’s Becky Shaw, a newlywed couple fixes up two romantically challenged friends. The wife’s best friend is set to meet the husband’s sexy and strange new co-worker. When an evening beckywebgraphicsquarecalculated to bring happiness takes a dark turn, crisis and comedy ensue in this wickedly funny play that asks what we owe the people we love and the strangers who land on our doorstep. The New York Times reviewer, Charles Isherwood called it “… a corker of a new play” when it opened at the Second Stage Theater in New York. Gionfriddo’s comedy of bad manners, a tangled tale of love is as engrossing as it is ferociously funny, like a big box of fireworks fizzing and crackling across the stage from its first moments to its last. Directed by Joe Laureiro and features the acting talents of: Holland Renton, Sean M. Grady, Kelly Kirby, Ray Frye and Zoey Rutherford as Becky Shaw. THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT. Tickets are available to Friend's members on February 18th, and to the general public: on February 22nd.
