His journey through the five boroughs takes him beyond his loss to a greater understanding of the world around him.

Join us for “Chi Gong,” an ancient Chinese system of exercises or movements performed in meditation, which promotes relaxation and inner peace. Each particpant will be fingerprinted and photographed and given a laminated card to take home to be used for identification purposes. This is a child safety and protection program offered by NY Life Insurance Company FREE of charge.
Parent or guardian must be present to sign authorization form. Families with children of all ages are welcome to come.

Registration for programs begins four weeks before the program’s date

Registered participants must be present at the time the program is scheduled to begin. We regret that after that time, their place will be given to those on the waiting list.

If you are unable to attend a workshop, please call YA Services so your place can be given to a patron on the waiting list.

Patrons who repeatedly fail to attend programs they have registered for may be refused admittance to future programs

Participation in a library program entitles the Elmont Memorial Library to use photographsfor publicity purposes.
