Join us as Sharon Hawkes gives a presentation on Lyme disease. She's discuss what other tick-borne diseases may be in the mix, how does one get diagnosed, what treatment options are out there, what state laws have been enacted to protect one’s treatment choices, and how does one prevent tick-borne disease (both personal and property prevention).

Sharon Hawkes is the Director of Nahant Public Library, a member of the Massachusetts Lyme Legislative Task Force, and helped promote a Lyme bill that became law last year.

*Please note, time slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis.    

The Student Volunteer Program is for students in currently in Grade 4 or above who are interested in helping with summer reading registration, art projects, and games. Students commit to a weekly 2-hour shift between June 26th and July 28th.
