Summer 6 & 7's: Get in the Game Day for Students in Grades 6 and 7 - The Giant Game Company fills the meeting rooms with giant-sized games for giant-size fun.

Monomoy Community Services, the Chatham Community Center and the EPL have joined forces to offer an exciting roster of events for students in grades 6 and 7.  For students who have not registered with Monomoy for the weekly 3-day session,  ?there are a few spots open to students who will only participate on Wednesdays at the library.  (No lunch or transportation is provided).   Registration for each of these Wednesday, library-only events is required.

Hogwarts Summer School for Students Entering Grades 3 to 6  - It's back and just in time for the much-anticipated book and movie releases scheduled for the summer and fall of 2016!  This five-week session features J.K. Rowling's popular Harry Potter series and includes a variety of book-based activities and professional presentations - all intended to celebrate and extend the joy of recreational reading.  Registration is required.  Online registration for this program will end on Thursday, June 23.  After the 23rd, please speak to Tammy directly to register.  Participants must have read the first title (not movie) and must commit to the full five-weeks.  A "Letter of Acceptance" will follow registration with more detailed information.

4-H Babysitter's Course for Students in Grades 5 and Up - Do you want to be the most sought after babysitter?  This two-day course, taught by a 4-H professional and supported by the Chatham Fire and Police departments, prepares you for this great responsibility.  Subjects covered include child safety, first aid and emergencies , child development, feeding, discipline, entertainment, and the business of babysitting.  Participants must attend both sessions and will receive an ID card and certificate upon successful completion.  There is no fee for this class (It's covered by the EPL!) and a light snack will be provided.  Registration is requried.

We Can Hear You On The Hill tells the story of the Chatham Town Band, which was formed in 1931 as the American Legion Band.  It's members over the past 85 years have taken many interesting and distinguished paths.  This local band, which has been playing continuously since 1931, except for a short hiatus during WWII, draws a crowd of 3000-5000 at each Friday night summer concert.

Drop-in Storytime for Children 3 to 5 Yrs - Join Sarah for a morning of stories, songs and theme-related activities.  This program targets the younger child; however, older siblings and children are always welcome.  No registration is required.  Note: Our door to storytime will close promptly at 10:30.  If the door is closed, please do not enter the room until the craft portion of the program, as latecomers are a distraction.
