It's Money Smart Week @ the Library!

Indie Cycle returns to Weaver Library to collect your old electronic waste.  A family owned RI business, Indie Cycle helps you recycle unwanted electronics responsibly.

Due to recent changes in the RI e-recycling landscape, Indie Cycle is no longer able to accept TVs and monitors for free—these have a $10 disposal fee as do freon-containing appliances.

Items such as computers, laptops, wires, and other household electronics are accepted at no charge. Recycle your cell phones, cables, plugs, cords, alkaline, auto/marine & rechargeable batteries, audio/visual equipment, stereos, remote controls, shredders, power tools, kitchen appliances--anything with a wire—for free!

Look for the Indie Cycle truck outdoors in the parking lot next to the library. Click HERE for more information on what Indie Cycle accepts.

Author J.J. Partridge is, in reality, John J. 'Jack' Partridge, lawyer and Senior Counsel to the firm of Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP.  Partridge writes crime novels which are smartly paced, have lots of local flavor, and twists galore. A seasoned lawyer, Partridge well portrays and understands academia, the city of Providence, and the world of pool. Following the success of his first two suspense novels Carom Shot and Straight Pool, Partridge returned with Scratched, garnering a starred review in Publishers Weekly.

Both readers and writers will enjoy J.J. Partridge as he shares his insights on writing thrillers, chillers, and noir. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
