Almost 74% of Americans voluntarily received reduced retirement income benefits because they don’t know all the facts.  This workshop will cover when is the best time to start receiving Social Security benefits and strategies to maximize benefits and coordinate with your spouse.  We will help you avoid the most common mistakes that are made when collecting your benefits and discuss special rules for single, divorced and survivor benefits.

Presented by Rebecca Miller and the Society for Financial Awareness – a non-profit dedicated to the advancement of financial literacy.

Presented by the Small Business Administration, this workshop series lays the groundwork for helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs launch a business idea and understand the steps to building a business that is credit ready. The information is laid out simply in three modules. Come to all three or attend the one that fits your needs.

Learn how to use the library's 3D printer so you are authorized to come in and run your own print jobs. For adults and children ages 12 & up. Registration is required and limited to 4 people. 

If you are interested in seeing how the printer works, but do not want to use it yourself, please sign up for one of our "Demo Only" classes.

This information session will help you understand the three enrollment periods and how the late enrollment penalty works.  We will also teach you how to choose a plan and how to decide between Medigap & drug or Medicare Advantage.  We will educate you on how much to expect to pay in health care costs in retirement and how to protect yourself from the catastrophic costs of long term care.
