The four TMNTs love their pizza.  Young Adults may sign up to learn to make a pizza to take home and make and have pizza samples.  Group is limited to 25  teens and 'tweens.  Registration begins June 15, 2015.

Celicia Cargill of Authentic HeARTwork, an artist with the Town of Oyster Bay Rotational Art Exhibit Program will be at the library to host a Paint Party for 'tweens and teens.  Participants will create canvases on easels and bring home the wet but finished product.  This program is limited to 15 students.  Registration begins July 1, 2015

Young Adults are welcome to join the YA librarian for snacks and discussion of the Young Adult book, Reckless by Cornelia Funke.  This fantasy/adventure is the story of 12 year old Jacob Reckless who enters Mirrorworld in search of his missing father.  The mirror takes him to a warring world populated by witches, fairies and dwarfs.  Jacob keeps this world a secret until his younger brother Will follow him there with dire consequences.  Limit 15 Young Adults.  Registration begins June 29, 2015. Pick up a copy of the book in the YA room.

Maria Sulsenti, certified Yoga instructor will be at the  library to give a Yoga class structured for Young Adults, beginners to experiences.  Wear loose fitting clothes and socks.  Bring a mat or a large towel if a mat is unavailable.  Water bottles for hydration.

Create a double layer 7 inch superhero cake.  Young Adults under the direction of the Baking Coach will experience working with and coloring buttercream icing and making fondant cutouts to create a layer cake decorated as superheroes.  Group limited to 24.  Register beginning July 1, 2015

Beginning in 1952 George Reeves starred as Superman on television.  The Young Adult Department has DVDs of those original seasons.  They will be shown continuously throughout the evening.  All are invited to drop in and drop out for an episode or 2 or 3...

Snacks will be available.

Art Educator, Karen Morea will be at the library to instruct a group of Young Adults in decorating tote bags with fabric paint.  Using stencils the bags can reflect the Summer theme of Super Heroes but young artisans are not limited to that theme and can create any design they wish.  Limit 20 students.  Registration begins July 20, 2015
