Molly the Reading Therapy DogA 5-Week Reading Program

We are excited to welcome back “Molly” a certified reading therapy dog for our program which is designed to encourage readers at all levels to practice their skills in a judgment-free environment.
 
Children will have the opportunity to schedule 15 minutes of one-on-one reading with Molly on a regular basis at the Library. Reading times will be at 6:00, 6:15, 6:30, 6:45, 7:00 or 7:15 p.m. Wednesday evenings.

Registration is required. To sign your child up for a 15 minute reading session please call 497-2102 or stop by the Children’s Room.

A workshop presented by the Alzheimer’s Association®.

If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it's time to learn the facts. Early detection of Alzheimer's disease gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. This interactive workshop features video clips of people with Alzheimer's disease. Registration is requested.
