misc_kapow.GIF 6:00 PM Jungle Jim's Superhero Training Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend

Jungle Jim's Superhero Training for Children ages 3 to 10 who are registered in the Every Hero Has a Story Summer Reading Program at the Hazen Memorial Library.

Jungle Jim challenges the audience to see if they have what it takes to be a hero. This program captures children's attention by turning them into superheroes themselves. The show progresses to talk about the heroes in our daily lives. What is it about them that makes them heroes? Who are the heroes in the children’s lives?

Lastly, Jim will lead the audience through the idea that they can be heroes themselves! We discuss what they can do to achieve this goal.

As a reward for the children completing their big challenge, Jungle Jim will meet his toughest challenge and attempt to climb inside of a 6-foot balloon! Seating is limited to the capacity of the room, please arrive promptly for a seat.

This event is sponosred by the Friends of the Hazen Memorial Library and Bemis Associates, Inc.
