Join Miss Kathleen for preschool storytime including songs, stories, feltboard stories, dancing, fingerplays and a craft. This program is appropriate for children aged 3 to 5 years old and their caregivers (siblings are also welcome). 

Zumbini with Julie Quirk

Join us for a fun music and movement class called Zumbini. Julie Quirk from Fitchburg's Studio Q, a licensed Zumba and Zumbini instructor will facilitate this class.

Zumbini is a 45 minute interactive experience for little ones ages 1 to 4 years old and their caregivers.

Drumming at the Library with Matt Steinberg

Join professional drummer and educator Matt Steinberg for some drum circle fun. Learn to play rhythmic patterns in a group setting, play drumming games, and express yourself through an instrument.

Drums and percussion instruments will be provided. This is a six weeks program that you will need to commit to all 6 Thursdays in a row starting April 25th and ending on May 30th.

Story Time and Craft with the Family Partnership

Join the Family Partnership Center to read stories, sing songs and make a craft. This program is open to children ages 0 to 6 years old and their caregivers.

The Friends of the Hazen Memorial Library will meet at 5:00 pm today in the library meeting room.

What is even more fun than reading together? Creating art and/or doing activities inspired by the books after reading together!

Join us for a picture book story read aloud and then we will create an artwork or do an activity that is inspired by the book. Perfect for children in Pre-school, Kindergarten and First Grade who miss Story Time.

No registration needed just drop in and enjoy!

The Shirley Historical Society will host a Book Talk about "The Hip Roofed House Rambles in Remembrance" by by Ethel Stanwood Bolton.

Refreshments will be available.

Voting Ends for our 3rd Annual LEGO Builder's Showcase LEGO at the Library for ages 12 and under! Last Day to vote for your favorite project in both groups.

2024 Challenge will be space themed to celebrate the Solar Eclipse with a LEGO character. 

There are two age groups Grades K through 2nd and 3rd through 6th. LEGO creations should not be larger than 10 x 10. Participants are encouraged to build their own designs. All entries must be in by April 13th at 12:30 pm. All projects must be taken home on May 4th by 12:30 pm.

Voting ends today May 2nd and winners will announced on May 4th. Please pick up all projects on May 4th.

Growing Places Mobile Market will be at the library from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
