misc_none Art on Display in January: WOC Group
    Contact: Library   631 728-6241   circulation@hamptonbayslibrary.org

Every month the paintings, photography, sculpture and other creative crafts are displayed in the Helen Gould Room located directly off the main foyer, and in the Lower Lobby display cases. We are pleased to present the following exhibitions:

January:  WOC Group is a group of experienced East End artists, several from Hampton Bays, formed around a love of figure drawing. They meet regularly to draw and paint from clothed models. Drawing from a live model offers the artist a unique opportunity to create a story around a private moment and share that moment with the viewer. The exhibit titled Figures and Faces includes a wide range of styles and media. Participating artists include: Leah Bath, Kitty Brumberg, Carol Carlsen, Natalya Cloarke, Jamie Farnsworth, Hannah Ritter, Frances Sherman, Saul Rosenstreich, Edythe Tomikinson, and Robin Ziemacki.  An Artists Reception will be held in the Helen Gould Room Sunday, January 8 from 3:00-5:00 pm.
