misc_none 11:00 AM  -  2:00 PM Senior I.D. Program     Tell a Friend
Senator Kemp Hannon and the Town of Hempstead Town Clerk’s office are sponsoring this event. No reservation required. The Senior I.D. Program is a great service made available to all senior citizens (ages 60 and up) in the Town of Hempstead. These I.D. cards come complete with a resident’s name, description, photograph, personal data, physician’s contact information and emergency phone numbers. Allergies and other vital information can also be printed on these wallet-sized cards. Seniors will also get an 8 ½” X 8” form that can be placed on their refrigerator doors. These Senior I.D. Cards and forms may be useful in the event of an emergency, as medical technicians can quickly gather pertinent information to quickly determine how to treat a particular person, given their allergies and other related information and contact his/her doctors and family members. This card can also be used for identification to take advantage of great discounts available to seniors such as movie theaters and shopping.
