Along the way he comments on the debates with Stephen Douglas, his run for the presidency, and the Civil War. In doing so, he challenges the audience to reexamine their knowledge of Lincoln's views on slavery and abolition. The program is being presented in conjunction with the NH Humanities Council and the Hooksett Public Library.
