Volunteer! Join the Teen Think Tank, the Library's fun and inventive teen advisory board.
The TTT is for ages 11-18, grades 6 to 12. We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM for 90 minutes. 
The TTT works to improve collections (books, movies, music, audiobooks, etc.) and to create programs and services designed for teens in this community.
Attendance at meetings and TTT events and projects is approved for high school community service hours.
Come share your bright ideas!...and don't worry about dinner; we have pizza delivered.
 
The time commitment to be a member of Teen Think Tank is mainly to constructively participate for 90 minutes a month on the first Thursday of the month at the TTT meeting. Regular monthly attendance is expected as a membership requirement, as attendance is important for continuity and progress in accomplishing things. Occasionally there will be something outside of the monthly 90 minute meeting time that will require your participation. 
 
To join the TTT, please stop by the Library and talk with Kim Claire, Young Adult Librarian, or call 978-468-5577 x14.

Bruce Robert Coffin is the bestselling author of the Detective Byron mystery series and former detective sergeant with more than twenty-seven years in law enforcement. At the time of his retirement from the Portland, Maine police department, he supervised all homicide and violent crime investigations for Maine's largest city. Bruce also spent four years working counter-terrorism with the FBI, where he earned the Director's Award, the highest honor a non-agent can receive.  He devotes his retirement to writing crime novels and short stories: he now has 8 publications under his belt.  Free and open to the public, funded by the Friends.

Volunteer! Join the Teen Think Tank, the Library's fun and inventive teen advisory board.
The TTT is for ages 11-18, grades 6 to 12. We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM for 90 minutes. 
The TTT works to improve collections (books, movies, music, audiobooks, etc.) and to create programs and services designed for teens in this community.
Attendance at meetings and TTT events and projects is approved for high school community service hours.
Come share your bright ideas!...and don't worry about dinner; we have pizza delivered.
 
The time commitment to be a member of Teen Think Tank is mainly to constructively participate for 90 minutes a month on the first Thursday of the month at the TTT meeting. Regular monthly attendance is expected as a membership requirement, as attendance is important for continuity and progress in accomplishing things. Occasionally there will be something outside of the monthly 90 minute meeting time that will require your participation. 
 
To join the TTT, please stop by the Library and talk with Kim Claire, Young Adult Librarian, or call 978-468-5577 x14.

You’ll also see some of the amazing work contemporary artists are creating with the book form, and after the talk, you’ll be able to view the books from presenter Susan Gaylord’s collection.
