A moving novel about three people who have lost the person they love most, and must find their way back to happiness. Arthur, a widower, meets Maddy, an angry and friendless teenage girl, while visiting his late wife at the cemetery, where he goes every day for lunch. Against all odds, the two strike up a friendship that pulls them out of a serious rut. They band together with Arthur's nosy neighbor Lucille, to create lives that are truly worth living. Great for ages 3-8 years old, in-room preregistration is required, choose a session: 2:00-3:00; 3:30-4:30. Join us for a hoppin' good time! Learn about rabbit behavior & anatomy through a story time and fun craft. The highlight of the program will be the Bunny Circle, where students will have the opportunity to touch the rabbits.

Parents / Caregivers of children ages 3-8 will enjoy stories, make friends, and explore art materials in a process-based environment with trained visual artist, Eva Der.  In this class children will create their own masterpieces while expanding their minds and capacity for friendship and community. This group meets Thursday mornings 10:30-11:30 from 1/9 to 3/19, however there is no meeting on 2/20. Author Peter Zheutlin will talk about his newest book The Dog Went Over the Mountain. He is a freelance journalist and best selling author of works like Rescue Road: One Man, Thirty Thousand Dogs, and a Million Miles on the Last Hope Highway. Books will be available for sale and signing after the talk. This program is free and open to the public. In case of inclement weather the snow date for this program is Thursday, January 30.
