The coyote is a remarkable animal, being one of the only carnivores to actually increase  its range and distribution in the past one hundred years. Coyotes have taken over as top predator in all environments in New England, from wilderness parks to city greenbelts.  Dr. Jon Way will talk about eastern coyote/coywolf ecology and behavior. Free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Town of Hamilton and Manchester-By-the-Sea Animal Control Officer, Hayes Demeule.

The Friends Annual Meeting features Anthony Amore, Director of Security, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and author of "Art of the Con: The Most Notorious Fakes, Frauds, and Forgeries in the Art World" and "Stealing Rembrandts: The Untold Stories of Notorious Art Heists". He will share details about the world's most significant art crimes, including the 1990 Gardner Museum heist. Refreshments at 6:30, annual meeting at 7:00, Anthony Amore presents at 7:30.   Free and open to the public, so bring along a friend.

Join us for the 'Confident Parents, Remarkable Kids' book club discussion and use Bonnie Harris'  book as a guide as we uncover our unique parenting strengths and identify what IS working in the current situation. We will learn connective parenting strengths to move past blame and punishment toward respect and responsibility. Parents will learn tools to provide thier children with the social / emotional skills they need to be prepared for a lifetime of success.
