Decorate a Halloween pumpkin with paint, sparkles, feathers, paper, ribbon - use your imagination!  Do Not Carve Your Pumpkin - no carved entries will be accepted.  Drop off your pumpkin to the children's room between Oct. 2 and Oct. 31, every participant will win a prize!  There is a halloween storytime from 11-12 on Sat. 14  and drop-in pumpkin decorating session from 11:30-3 that day.

Join native speaker Lucy Han to learn a little basic Chinese, and introduce aspects of Chinese culture in daily life and business. Lucy grew up in China and worked for international companies for 10 years. She is currently a student at Gordon Conwell, and this summer she worked as an interpreter at an international conference. Free and open to the public, for adults and students 16+. Class runs from Oct. 4 to Nov. 8.

SpeakOUT Boston is a community of speakers working to create a world free of homo-bi-trans-phobia and other forms of prejudice by telling the truths of their lives. They do so by:  sharing their lives and experiences publicly in order to support those struggling with sexuality and gender identity; and talking within the communities they represent about issues that divide us. SpeakOUT panelists engage audiences in honest dialogue, and in keeping with the motto "Ask Us Anything," invite any questions that may challenge harmful stereotypes and misconceptions. Free and open to the public, bring along a friend.
