This creative writing group gives students the opportunity to think outside the box and have worked critiqued in a friendly, open-minded atmosphere. We meet monthly on the fourth Saturday from 11am to 1pm in Study Room 1. The group is led by Cynthia Kolanowski.

So, you wanna be an actor?  First you have to get the part, and this workshop will teach you some skills that just might land you in the lead role!  Taught by local working actor, Jude Moran, we’ll go through all the basics: selecting an appropriate monologue, breaking the character down to find the juicy, interesting bits and learning how to make acting choices that will make you compelling to watch.

Session Three:

The Director – learn to think like a director, so you know what they are looking for; performance feedback; learn the subtle differences between a film audition and theater audition.   Homework:  Now go get that awesome role!

Registration is required and participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions.
