misc_none 4:00 PM  -  5:30 PM STEM Girls: Robotics and Gears Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend

Everyone knows that girls are awesome. Sadly though, as girls grow up, they’re far under-represented in science careers, and sometimes subliminally discouraged from even showing interest in these careers. We're doing our part to change this course by offering STEM events just for girls where all ages are invited to play and learn in an open and nonjudgmental atmosphere. The events are led by Bell Middle School’s Girls in iSTEM Club. On May 2, girls explore the basics of robotics with LEGO® Mindstorm, cubelets and more. Then, on June 7, they'll explore the basics of electricity and circuits.

If you know someone who might be interested, take advantage for all the girls in your life. Space is limited, so please register in advance.

Suitable for: Girls of all ages
