This will be a two hour session. The first hour will be a discussion on the concepts of HOW and WHY meditation is so effective in creating lasting change in our lives as it relates to neuroscience, quantum physics and spirituality. We will discuss concepts shared by authors such as Dr. Joe Dispenza, Eckhart Tolle, Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Lynne McTaggart and more. Followed by a one hour guided meditation where we will place these concepts into action. No prior experience is necessary. My goal is to help remove the mysticism that has surrounded meditation and provide a scientific, physiological, and spiritual understanding of the principles behind this incredibly powerful tool for improving health and happiness in our lives. I would highly recommend bringing a cushion as the chairs are not very comfortable.

Book clubs are fun right? Well how much more fun do you think they would be if there were movies and snacks involved too? A lot I bet. Teen Movie Club is a twist on the traditional book club. Every month you guys will read a new book, and then we will meet to watch the movie based on it. After the film, we'll discuss if it was better than the book, if it was an awful, no-good, horrible travesty, or even if it was just OK. Now I know what you're thinking, "A whole new book every month? I don't have time for that!" And that's fine too. Come and watch the movie, eat a snack, and add your thoughts on just the movie to the discussion.

Join us this month to watch and discuss The Adventures of Tintin, based on the classic comics by Hergé. The film was based on the Tintin stories The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham's Treasure, which can be found in volume's three and four of the Tintin collections.
