Boxtrolls -- A community of quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs in the amazing cavernous home they've built beneath the streets of Cheesebridge. When the town's villain, Archibald Snatcher, comes up with a plot to get rid of the Boxtrolls, Eggs decides to venture above ground, 'into the light,' where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnie. Movie Showing - Into the Woods

Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods is adapted in this musical from director Rob Marshall and Walt Disney Studios. Inspired by a choice selection of Brothers Grimm fairy tales, this plot centers on a baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) who incur the wrath of a witch (Meryl Streep) while attempting to start a family. Subsequently cursed by the vengeful hag, the hapless couple find their fates linked with those of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick),Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy) and Jack (Daniel Huttlestone) of Jack and the Beanstalk. Join us for this unique after-hours live action Minecraft game.  A scavenger hunt game of tag using all your favorite Minecraft rules... come find your inner Steve or Monster!  There will be running in the library, so wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Light snacks provided. Tweens and Teens ages 9 - 18. 

Registration is required and will open March 1st.

You've never touched a computer in your life? This class is for you. You've got to be able to use a mouse before you can do much more. Practice clicking, double-clicking and dragging. You'll also be briefly introduced to drop down menus, checkboxes, radio buttons, scrolling, and cut-and-paste. This class, or mastery of the included skills, is essential for all other computer classes. Prerequisite: None.

Bring in your unwanted formalwear and get someone else's dream outfit! For each dress, pair of shoes, or accessory you donate, you'll receive tickets to trade for a new-to-you item. Don't have anything to bring in? That's okay! You can "buy" tickets with canned goods too. Five cans per dress, two for shoes, one per accesssory. Donations benefit Florence Crittenton High School and the Jeffco Action Center. The Prom "store" will be open Saturday, 12 - 4:45 p.m. at the Columbine Library.

Learn how to create a simple circuit by making a LED keychain, pin, or wristband. Participants will use batteries, conductive materials, and LED lights provided by the library and receive instruction from staff. Scissor and needle use is required. Participants will receive a free treat from McDonalds.
