For legal parties who have no attorney, a free legal self-help clinic will be held on the first Thursday of each month at the Belmar Library in Lakewood.  A volunteer lawyer will be available via video link to answer questions, help fill out forms and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, landlord-tenant law and much more.  No advance reservations are required - patrons will be helped on a first-come, first served basis.

Please note: This clinic is informational purposes only and should not be considered a form of legal representation. You have the right to retain an attorney of your choice at any time, and are advised to do so.

Let's start at the very beginning:  You've been afraid or unwilling to plunge into the digital world, but have decided it's time to learn something about computers. This series of classes will show you how to use a mouse and keyboard, the parts of the computer, and the basics of navigating in Microsoft Windows. We'll go on to explore the Internet, learn to use email, then learn to use programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Along the way, you'll have coached practice sessions were you'll apply the skills learned in the classes.  Prerequisite: Mastering the Mouse is helpful, but not required.
