misc_none 6:00 PM  -  7:30 PM Nourishment for Body, Mind and Spirit; Self care tips for your whole being Remind Me about this Event Download Event Info Tell a Friend

Nourishment goes beyond “feeding” ourselves. Choosing what to consume into our bodies, minds, and hearts—as well as what we choose not to let in—often makes the difference between health and disease. Nourishment is not just about eating healthy foods; it’s also about choosing our thoughts, processing our feelings, and eliminating toxic substances, people, and situations. Create a vital life for yourself!

Topics for discussion:

  • Eating consciously
  • Assessing the health of our relationships; do they nourish or drain you?
  • Listening for how you talk to yourself
  • Consider yourself as sacred ground; how do you treat your “temple”?

Dr. Kelley Eden brings her deep compassion and vast expertise in mind/body medicine. She discusses how to navigate and recover from stress, as well as how to build resilience in all aspects of your being so you can more quickly recover from life's difficult events. Leave with self-care tools, and new ideas for staying whole and healthy in your life.

Begin to understand standard sheet music and ukulele tablature to play melodically and harmonize using chords and lyrics. Get tips for buying, tuning, and maintaining your ukulele. You will also be introduced to other community resources to grow your inner rock star. We have a limited number of ukuleles available through pre-registration (around 24).
