For legal parties who have no attorney, a free legal self-help clinic will be held on the first Thursday of each month at the Belmar Library in Lakewood.  A volunteer lawyer will be available via video link to answer questions, help fill out forms and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, landlord-tenant law and much more.  No advance reservations are required - patrons will be helped on a first-come, first served basis.

Please note: This clinic is informational purposes only and should not be considered a form of legal representation. You have the right to retain an attorney of your choice at any time, and are advised to do so.

Transform a ugly, ill-fitting shirt into a fashion statement.Bring one or more lightly worn or recyclable shirts. Several projects can be made in this MakeSomething session. These will be little or no-sew projects. Sewing machines will be available.

Into the Woods (2014) -- A modern twist on several of the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel, all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.   PG 124 minutes

Want to make some new friends?  Bring your paper craft to Columbine Library to enjoy the camaraderie and inspiration of working alongside old and new friends in a welcoming environment. The Columbine Library will provide meeting space, free "crop" time and some supplies to help your creative process. And there will be occasional demonstrations along with make & take projects!
