On August 21, the shadow of the Moon will sweep a path across the United States, from Oregon to South Carolina, covering the sun for precisely two minutes and 27 seconds in Douglas, Wyoming (times vary depending on where you are within the path). This is the first time since the 1970's that a total solar eclipse will be visible in the United States. The shadow moves very quickly and positioning yourself in the line of totality at the correct time and place with the best chance of seeing it under clear conditions is the challenge that eclipse chasers tackle every time the moon's shadow touches the earth!  Astronomer and President of Sirius Travel Inc. Victoria Sahami discusses  his eclipse and the art of eclipse chasing. No registration necessary. There is a limit of 46 people, so first come, first served.
