For the first time in 26 years, a total solar eclipse will occur in the United States on Monday, August 21. The moon will cover more than 90% of the sun at 11:45 a.m. in Denver. Pick up your pinhole eclipse view craft kit or eclipse glasses on your visit to the bookmobile between Aug. 8 and Aug. 19 and get eclipse equipped!

There’s more to speaking a foreign language than just grammar and vocabulary. Confidence, cultural understanding and comfort are key to truly becoming fluent. Come to the library to practice speaking English in a safe environment with a trained facilitator who will guide conversation, answer questions and help you grow in confidence. This is not a formal ESL class - it’s an opportunity to connect with others, learn about America and practice English.
