Toddler Time

A story time designed to showcase activities a parent can do with their child to develop basic early literacy skills using books, oral stories, songs, finger plays, and movement. Toddler time is geared toward 2-3 year-olds but older and younger children may attend. It is a first group experience for many young children. Toddler Time will be held in the our Meeting Room.

Practice Session - Laptop Friendly
|

This session is held in the Belmar Computer Training Center. Practice what you’ve learned in our patron education classes. Patrons with laptops can bring their laptops to this practice session and receive basic instructions on computer basics. Class instructor will not handle patron laptops but will give instruction. Join an expedition to seek out dinosaur bones. Excavate 'fossils' using the techniques and tools of real paleontologists. Touch real fossils that reveal our prehistoric past, and use creative play to act out the fossiliation process. This program is designed for ages 3 to 8 years.

Canyon Critters - Reptiles

Meet and learn about reptiles. We will be showing the proper and safe way to handle the different animals, an almost all of them are able to be touched by those curious enough. As a rescue, Canyon Critters will also discuss responsible pet ownership and mistakes people make when choosing pets.
