Writers often struggle with how to address difficult topics in their work. Popular mystery writer Rev. Judith Campbell's Olympia Brown books tackle various kinds of difficult social and ethical issues, each in a different and entertaining way. Rev. Campbell, who calls herself "The Sinister Minister," returns to Kingston to talk about writing about difficult issues. She will also sign copies of her latest Olympia Brown mystery, A Predatory Mission, just published.

Please note that the program will be held at the recently renovated Adams Center at 33 Summer Street (the old library building). Parking is limited. Please park at the Kingston Public Library.

About A Predatory Mission:

When the female minister and a young mother, both members of same church, disappear without warning, Olympia Brown is called to help. She soon suspects a connection between the missing women and the charismatic pastor from another church. With investigative assistance from her best friend, Father Jim, and support from her beloved Frederick, Olympia discovers the man has a long and well-concealed history of sexual misconduct. When he turns his attentions toward Olympia, she knows the only way to stop this insidious predator will be to catch him in the act, which could have deadly consequences for her.
