A living character, in full costume with props, will recount his tale to the audience.  This is not a simple retelling; the performer will act out his story using audience help and even let the audience decide what happens in parts of the story.  The actor is extremely knowledgeable and will answer any questions the audience may have.  The audience will enjoy being a part of the show and will thrill in seeing Greek mythology and history come to life.

This event is one of a series of FREE to the public Cultural Presentations to be held at the Lakeville Public Library supported in part from a grant by the Lakeville Arts Council, a local agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Contact: Pamie Roy Tan    508-947-9028   prtan@sailsinc.org

Join us for a book talk with local author, Dana Caldarone, author of No Permission Needed.

Dana is a man of logic and reason, without compromise. That is, he was, until reoccurring dreams begin to haunt him and influence the life changing decisions he makes. How much can he depend on advice given to him by family members who are dead? How can he make sense of the feeling that he is relentlessly being drawn to the Green Mountains of Vermont? And how can he logically explain the connectedness in his life that he sees at every turn? Is his life just a series of coincidences and luck? Or is there something more powerful than that at work? How will he cope, when health issues cause his own body to become his most deadly adversary? And might it be possible that he is on this earth with the primary purpose of finding the one woman that he must be with....the woman he has always been with?

This book is just a story told by a man. But reading his story will change the way you think about your life. It will change the way you look at the relationships around you and the relationships you are in. It will give you reason to reflect more thoughtfully on your dreams. And more importantly, it will challenge your beliefs about your own, inevitable death.
