Because drawing with crayons is boring.  Melted crayon art is an easy and fun thing to do for those artistic adventurers out there.  It's so simple, yet the end result can be stunning.  You can create your own masterpiece by using some crayons, a canvas, and a blow-dryer or hot glue gun.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Lakeville Public Library it is free and open to all ages. See Ms. Teresa in the Children's Room for more information.

The meeting room inside  the Lakeville library will transform into a nightclub to host the Swing Fever Trio for a special hour of distinctive jazz stylings to the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rdogers and more.

This show is FREE and open to the ADULT public. The hour will promise a joyous sampling of the best of American popular music in the past 100 years and guaranteed to get your toes tapping and perhaps even some dancing with your partner.  This program will also provide some narrative on the American Songbook to educate and inform as well as entertain.  Pianist and vocalist Steve Rudolph, founder of the Swing Fever Trio, is a former public teacher with a degree in Music Education. For over 40 years he has performed extensively both in the U.S. and Europe in venues ranging from jazz clubs to churches.

This event is one of a series of FREE to the public Cultural Presentations to be held at the Lakeville Public Library supported in part from a grant by the Lakeville Arts Council, a local agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
