The SAT test will undergo major changes in 2016.  This workshop explains the changes and also outlines the ACT Test.  Presented by Mike Goldstein of Goldstein Test Prep. This workshop will also be offered on Saturday, August 8 at 11 am.

The library honors the 55th anniversary of "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee with a lecture by Akin Adepoju, a trial and capital habeas attorney, Federal Public Defender's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania.  He'll address recent mass incarceration cases and discuss recent events in the national news.

This presentation, explaining the significance of the organization since a 2010 Supreme Court decision, is led by Kim Watterson of the ACLU of Pennsylvania.
