Join us for a delightful evening  in the Welcome Garden where we will sample a lovely variety of five wines paired with five delectable chocolates.  The tasting is being lead by Jill Kummer of the prestigious Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs. Light appetizers at 5:30.  Tasting begins at 6:15. Tickets are $30.  Payment and registration in advance are required. This is an adults only event. Register by July 25th. The Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club will hold two classes at the library. Introduction to Mushrooms will be taught at 10:30 am. The class discusses edible and poisonous mushrooms. At 1:30 pm,a Jelly, Club & Coral Fungi class will be held. Each class is $10. Kids Yoga is first and foremost a fun way for children to move! During this introductory class, children will learn in a nourishing and non-competitive atmosphere to relax and have fun, while developing strength, coordination, flexibility, balance, and greater body awareness.  Children will be familiarized with yoga postures and breath work in a playful way. They’ll learn how to relax through breathing exercises and a short meditation.  Class ends with restorative poses leaving your little one happy, inspired, and relaxed. Ages 2 - 7.

Eva Gelman, who has worked at Carnegie Mellon University and Sewickley Academy in the Admissions and Guidance Departments will lead a five-day seminar for high school students. The workshop will focus on college essays, highlighting activities in a resume, developing a timeline and strategy and more. There is a fee for the workshop and registration is required.
