MedExpress Urgent Care's Teddy Bear Clinic, a free community outreach program, teaches children about healthcare treatments and healthy habits. A local  staff member will lead the children as they observe and learn about hand washing, x-rays, splinters and much more. No need for children to bring in their own stuffed friend, the MedExpress staff member will bring their own teddy helper to the clinic. This program is for children ages 3 - 6.

Droid Robotics is presenting a Lego Mindstorms Robot class for children ages 9-12. In this 4 part mini-camp, students will learn to program a LEGO Mindstorms robot. Students will learn to make their robot move, turn and use several sensors to navigate.

Daily challenges will be set up for the students as part of the lesson.

Attending all four days is required as each day builds on the previous.

Two 1.5 hour sessions will be held each day.

Session 1: June 15-18 10:30 - 12:00 PM

Session 2: June 15-18 12:30 - 2:00 PM

Capacity is limited to 12 students per session. Cost is $12 per session (four classes).

Checks are payable to the Cooper-Siegel Community Library (CSCL) upon registration.

Part One will be building a 3D mask using sculpture techniques and plastercraft. Part Two will consist of painting and embellishing the final masterpiece. All skill levels are welcome.
