has been featured in solo, invitational juried state and national exhibitions and represented in
private and corporate collections in the US, Europe and Asia.  Her abstract work is represented
at 100 Market Street Gallery, Portsmouth NH.

She is a native of Edinburgh, Scotland and began her career in the arts over 25 years ago. She
is an experiential artist, impacted by a deep visceral connection to her soul and the innate
struggle to depict her intimate feelings and views on to the canvas in a spontaneous, raw and abstract self-expression.
Each of her paintings are emotional in nature and a metaphor for her life’s journey, from Scottish origins, travels around
the world, personal struggles and challenges, events in society.  They embody the magic and whimsical illusions of a
child and the strength and wisdom of a woman with an old soul.

She works mainly in acrylic and mixed media, including  wax, pearlescent powders, gesso of different consistencies,
stained glass pieces, decoupage, gold/silver leaf, and unusual objects she finds washed up on the beach. Her recent
compositions are organic and primitive in nature and reveal a range of emotions from sadness, hope, peace, renewal,
enlightenment and self-awareness.

The show will run October 7 - 28, 2017

Expressions Of Nature – Interpretations by Steve St.Lawrence and Noble Farrow

Photographer Steve St.Lawrence and artist Noble Farrow are friends with an appreciation for the great outdoors. While their art forms may be different, their passion for art, nature and sharing it with the world is the same. They look forward to the opportunity to share their vision in the Art Gallery at Lawrence Library. This exhibition is dedicated to the beauty and wonder of nature expressed in a multimedia presentation. Come meet the artists on Saturday, November 4th from 11 am - 1 pm.

Steve is based in Nashua but considers the White Mountains and Acadia National Park to be second homes, visiting as often as possible. This is Steve’s 3rd exhibition at the Lawrence Library with the Art Gallery being his favorite room with the recent renovation of the skylight. His work also hangs in several private collections. Steve has donated pieces for a variety of charity causes in a number of areas in the country as a commitment to giving back to the community. Steve has work on display at the Frame Depot in Milford, NH. Steve is currently working on 2 book projects, one a book of portraits and the second book a combination of writing and images based upon his weekly series called the Friday Photo. The Friday Photo can be found on his Steve St.Lawrence Photography Page on Facebook. His website is www.stevestl.com.

Noble and her family are residents of Brookline, NH. Noble was born in Minnesota, raised in Massachusetts and went to college in New Hampshire. Noble has formal education in art and education. Her passion for creating has not been limited to her own pieces but has extended to inspiring and encouraging other artists through teaching. Her canvas can take many forms, including traditional canvas, drawings and her unique style of woodburning. She finds unique pieces of wood and incorporates the texture and color of the pieces into her vision of the final product.  You can find Noble’s work at Wild Salamander in Hollis, The Frame Depot in Milford and Picket Fence Gift Shop in Mount Vernon. You can find Noble on Facebook by looking for Arts By Noble.

This art show will run November 4th - 25th.  Steve and Noble are planning several Saturday events during the exhibition. Details to follow as the event gets closer!
